Buena Vista County Supervisors voted to take no action on a resolution against gay marriage.

During Tuesday's supervisors meeting, they disucssed the "Defense of Marriage Act" recently passed in Jefferson County.  While passing a resolution would *not* have had any legal impact, it would simply urge Iowa lawmakers to work towards a constitution change recognizing marriage as between a man and a woman.

A spokesperson for the Buena Vista County Supervisors says more than likely the issue will not come up for debate again.
