I'm originally from a small town outside Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. I played basketball in high school and was very active in the music program. I briefly attended college in Pennsylvania for Music Education before moving to Sioux City in 2005 to pursue other interests. In 2007, I began attending Morningside College for Mass Communications, focusing on Sports Broadcasting. As a radio voice for the Morningside Mustangs Basketball teams, I experienced broadcasting two National Tournaments, including the 2009 NAIA Division II Women's Basketball Championship. I'm a 2009 graduate of Morningside College, and have spent the last year as a contributor on FOX Sports Radio here in Sioux City.
My interests in sports are widespread, including more than just the pro's in Football, Basketball, and Baseball. I'm an avid Hockey and Racing fan, everything from club and juniors hockey to the NHL, and from dirt track racing to NASCAR. I'm an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Penguins fan. High school sports are important to me, and I've enjoyed getting to know the coaches and athletes that make high school sports a privilege to cover. I look forward to bringing Sioux City the most complete sports coverage and getting to know the heart of Siouxland Sports.
