One Dead In Holstein House Fire

A house fire in Holstein, Iowa claims the life of one person trapped inside.
The Ida County Sheriff's Office and Holstein Fire Department say they responded to a fire at 424 Altona Street in at 5 a.m. Saturday morning.
Firefighters found one victim inside the home and rushed the occupant to an Ida Grove hospital.
The victim was pronounced dead. His or her identity is not being released at this time.
The State Fire Marshall's Office is investigating the cause of the blaze.
