Children playing with fireworks is to blame for a blaze at an Albert City, Iowa home.  According to the Buena Vista County Sheriff's Office.  Authorities responded to a fire call around seven Sunday evening. When they arrived, the fire had spread from the garage to a part of the house.  Officials with the state Fire Marshall's office came back to investigate the next morning, and found the fire had flared up again in the attic.  It was quickly extinguished, but the home is considered a total loss.

Officials determined that the fire started with children playing with fire and fireworks.

Due to the ages of the two children, 5 and 7, no criminal charges were filed.
