Family & Friends Remember Jaxon Stark With Benefit

Posted: Updated:

A benefit was held tonight in honor of a young Sioux City boy who died from injuries sustained during a biking accident.

At Starky's Bar, formally known as 50 Yard Line, dozens came out to donate time and money to Jaxon Stark's family.

Six year old Stark was riding his bike last Wednesday near the 900 Block of 13th street, when he apparently rode into the path of an on-coming truck.

He passed away on Saturday.

But tonight, friends and family embraced his memory, as young Stark was able to give life to others, as an organ donor.

33 year old Joel Kubic of Thurston, Nebraska was driving the semi that hit stark.

Sioux City Police say the driver of the truck is not facing any charges, saying he was not at fault for the accident.
