IOWA CITY, Iowa (AP) - Iowa City police are investigating an armed home invasion that took place late Wednesday.
Authorities were called to an apartment where three residents reported that five armed men, wearing black clothing and ski masks, forced their way into the residence.
According to the victims, 3 of the men displayed guns, and used pepper spray on 2 of the residents. One victim sustained a minor injury when struck on the head.
Police say the suspects fled the apartment with an unknown amount of cash and electronics.
Iowa City crimestoppers is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to an arrest.
