We now know the name of Sioux City's first fatality suspected to be a result of H1N1.

A family spokesperson tells Channel 9, 27-year-old Caleb Short from Sutherland, Iowa had been sick with a fever several days before he was taken to Mercy Medical Center.

The family was told he had pneomonia.

He was tested for H1N1 but that test came back negative.

However, the family was told that *could* have been what had sick initially.

Short died on Wednesday.

He was a graduate of South O'Brien High School.
