OFFUTT AIR FORCE BASE, Neb. (AP) - An upcoming symposium will offer space and defense professionals an opportunity for education, discussion and exposure to the latest space operations technologies.

The Strategic Space Symposium will get under way Monday with a networking event and reception.

Speeches, panel discussions, breakout sessions, networking opportunities and exhibits will round out the events at the Qwest Center in Omaha before the symposium wraps up Wednesday.

Speakers will include StratCom commander Gen. Kevin Chilton and other high-level U.S. government and military leaders.

The symposium will focus on war fighter issues and requirements, as well as global space strategy.
