The help wanted sign is out at one of areas largest employers.

Stream Global Services in Sergeant Bluff is going to hire more than 300 people, which is good news for the entire community.

Stream provides customer support services to several different companies.

It's looking to fill Supervisor and managerial jobs, as well as seasonal and part time positions.

With 800 employees already, they're making room for more.

"The skill sets that we need primarily are good customer service skills, people that can interact with clients, and can hold a conversation if there is technical requirements we can teach them that but we have to have good customer service skills," Said Stream Vice President Roger Meier.

Just kiddy corner to the stream building is a strip of local businesses, many who have experienced the economic ups and downs that area has seen.

Roger Wissink, Owner Sergeant Bluff Pizza Ranch, says this addition is a plus for his business as well.

" Anytime that a local business has a help wanted sign benefits the whole community, an additional work force of three hundred people coming into the town the size of Sergeant Bluff is awesome."

You can either apply online or at the Stream building.
