Icy road conditions led to a multi-car accident on Interstate 29 Tuesday morning.  It happened just outside of Sergeant Bluff, near the Sioux Gateway Airport.

An accident in Plymouth County early Tuesday morning has sent two people to the hospital.  It happened around 2:00 AM Tuesday morning.  The Plymouth County Sheriff's say two people were injured in the accident, which happened on the corner of Highway 12 and K–18 near the Iowa and South Dakota border.

Samantha Smith, 18 years, and Benjamin Collier, 21 years, were taken to Mercy Medical Center.  Smith is listed in serious condition, while Collier is in fair condition. Alcohol is believed to be a factor in the crash.
