Long lines and cold weather. It doesn't matter.

hundreds of people lined up tonight to get a vaccine that seems so hard to come by.

Lines were yet again out the door at Homer, Nebraska's high school, as folks eagerly waited to get the H1N1 vaccine.

Only 600 doses were available, but the H1N1 vaccine is in much higher demand.

"It's spreading faster than what people thought it would. There have been more deaths as the result of it, than were predicted, I think that the H1N1's impacted every part of Nebraska. Says Dakota County Emergency Manager Pat Foust.

Hundreds of people were waiting inside the Homer, Nebraska high school in hopes of getting protection against the H1N1 virus.

The vaccines and nasal mist were given to the first priority group.

For some that made the cut, they say it's a huge relief.

"Didn't even feel it, didn't hurt at all. Hopefully I won't get sick, that's the way I look at it, as long as I don't get sick, paid off, says Collin Matthews of Winnebago, NE.

Medical personnel waited until all of the vaccines were gone, to close up shop.

Health officials plan to hold as many of these clinics as possible, as long as vaccines keep coming in.
