Police are searching for a man after an armed robbery in Sioux City Wednesday night.

The hold–up took place at the East End gas station on Morningside Avenue, where the man showed a handgun and demanded money.

He took off with an undisclosed amount of money in an older red pick–up truck.

The man is described as a white male who was wearing glasses, a scarf covering his face, a hat with ear flaps, a dark colored shirt, and jeans.

A second person is believed to be the one driving the getaway vehicle.

No one was injured in the robbery.
