LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) - A Nebraska professor has been honored as 1 of the best undergraduate professors in the country.
It is the first time a professor from the state has been named professor of the year by the Washington-based Council for Advancement and Support of Education.
Rick Miller, a psychology professor at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, received the award on Thursday in Washington.
Miller was 1 of 4 professors to be honored by the group.
Each will receive $5,000 from the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching.
