Thousands of people rolled up their sleeves Saturday at Sioux City's first  H1N1 clinic open to all five priority groups.

People were lined up as early as 7 a.m. for the clinic and the lines stayed solid until well after noon.

There were no nasal mist vaccines. All were given in shot form.

Officials were relieved they were able to get a hold of enough vaccine to vaccinate just under 2,000 people, most being students.

"We are seeing a lot of students or school aged and that's good that was one of our priority groups, obviously. In there I'd say 60 to 65 percent of people through the doors have been school aged children, " said Districts Health's Chuck Cipperley.

District Health officials plan on holding several more clinics on weekends to come as they continue to get the vaccine in.
