Neb. man gets 11 years prison on meth charge

OMAHA, Neb. (AP) - A Nebraska City man will spend more than 11 years in federal prison for conspiring to distribute methamphetamine.

The U.S. Attorney's office in Omaha says Edgar Prado was sentenced to 11 years and one month in prison earlier this week.

In addition to the two drug charges, the 27-year-old Prado was also sentenced for violated the terms of his supervised release.

Prosecutors say Prado was arrested in February as part of an investigation of the gang's activity in southeast Nebraska.
