The community came together Sunday for one big Thanksgiving feast.
Sioux City Goodwill Industries Thanksgiving Dinner has been a staple in the community for 83 years.
The dinner is made possible thanks to nearly one hundred volunteers including the Siouxland Boy Scouts.
With over 40 turkeys waiting to be served, hundreds of pies and close to a thousand mouths to feed Goodwill Industries needed all the help they could get.
That's why several Boy Scout Troops from around the area stepped up to the plate and went to work.
They were hard at work from 11:30 until about 2:30 and they even stayed after the event to help clean up.
In addition to the Boy Scouts and volunteers from Local Law Enforcement, several people from all around the community took time out of their day to help out.
