For area stores they say this years Black Friday was by far busier than last years.

Whether you're a Black Friday Shopper or not, local store officials said Friday's turnout means good things for Siouxland.

Gary Frafjord, Manager at Target, says yesterday proved that people are getting into the holiday spirit and shopping a little more than last year.

"It was awesome it was crazy in the morning and of course busy all day longest crowds and lines that we've ever seen but people for the most part were great its just a lot of fun it goes by pretty fast those first four or five hours in the morning."

More shopping is Siouxland now, means higher expectations for a busy holiday shopping season this year.
