ATLANTA (AP) - The Twins have placed third baseman Trevor Plouffe on the 7-day disabled list with a concussion. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) - The Minnesota Lynx says there's been a different edge in training camp this season after they fell short in their quest to repeat as WNBA champions. The Lynx open the regular season June 1st against Connecticut.

CLEVELAND (AP) - Miguel Cabrera homered and drove in three runs last night in the Detroit Tigers' 11-7 win over the Cleveland Indians. Victor Martinez added two sacrifice flies and Brayan Pena had three hits as the Tigers swept the 2-game series. The game was delayed by rain twice.
