Late Starts Friday, November 20th

Well hello Siouxland! It's great to be here and to start meeting all of you!

I joined the Channel Nine Eyewitness News Team in June of ‘08, after graduating from the University of Toledo, with a Bachelors degree in Communication and a concentration in broadcasting. While at the university, my passion for the news took off after becoming a reporter for our school news program. I then jumped to the other side of the camera, and took on the producer role. Those experiences brought me to my present job as a producer and reporter at KCAU. I am a proud alumna of the Delta Delta Delta sorority, where I met wonderful friends who have supported me and helped make my dreams become a reality. Here I am today in Sioux City reporting the news!

I grew up in Youngstown, OH-IO, and learned at a young age that I wanted to be in front of the camera. I was always making (and starring in) funny family videos.  After putting my talent to use in High Sc hool, my teachers encouraged and told me that reporting was my calling; and I've never stopped following my dream.

When I'm not working at the station, I'm probably catching up on some sleep! I like to hang out with family and friends whenever I get the chance, and I love to play sports. When I'm not playing sports, I'm usually watching them. How can an Ohio girl not love the Big Ten? ...Go Bucks!

Family is definitely the biggest part of my life, and now I'm glad to say I'm a part of an even bigger one! I am very excited to start the new chapter of my life here in Siouxland, and I look forward to meeting new people every day. Hopefully, I will see you around!
