The Sioux city man who's accused of beating his bulldog puppy to death has pleaded not guilty.
35-year-old Bobby Loggins pleaded not guilty to one animal torture charge, a misdemeanor, Thursday morning. The incident happened during a house party at Loggins home in the 16-hundred block of 23rd street last week. Eyewitnesses told police Loggins punched the dog over 30 times after it urinated on his carpet.
If convicted, Loggins could spend 2-years in prison and pay a $6250 fine. His trial is set for August.
