Roommates Testify at Hearing for Man Charged With Murder
Two roommates of an accused child killer have testified about what they know, the two were roommates with De Jesus Malicio Camacho.
Camacho is charged with first degree murder in the slaying of a three-year- old South Sioux City girl named Evelyn.
Today lawyers questioned Efrion Mendez Luna, who says he did see Camacho early that night at a bar in Sioux City.
Luna says it was hours before the murder.
A second roommate, Jorge Moreno Urenda, also says he saw Camacho at the bar, but never spoke with him.
Both men are believed to be in the United States illegally, and will be deported back to Mexico.
