The Iowa DOT says U.S. 30, which crosses between Missouri Valley, IA and Blair, NE could close without any further notice.
The Missouri River breached a levee just south of Highway 30 Saturday morning. The water could cross U.S. 30.
The DOT is monitoring the situation, and the road will remain open as long as it is safe.
