UPDATE: Victims Identified In Accident Near Cherokee

Four people are now dead after a multiple vehicle accident that happened South of Cherokee, IA.

They have been identified as 83-year-old William Eubank of Quimby, 83-year-old Phyllis Eubank of Quimby, 84-year-old Kenneth Slentz from Canada and 83-year-old Dorthy Slentz, also from Canada. 

The crash happened around 12:30p.m. Thursday. 

Two pickups and a small semi were involved. The four people that were in one of the pickups were dead when rescue workers arrived at the scene. The person driving the other pickup vehicle was un harmed and the small semi driver was taken to the hospital with non life threatening injuries.
