Can you "que??" By the smells of it downtown Sioux City, sure can! The scent of slow-cooked brisket and ribs filled the air, today for the Sioux City Museum and Historical Association's Barbeque block party!
Located on the front lawn of the new museum, dozens of vendors and eaters alike filled the street in the name of some BBQ.
And those who got to enjoy the tastes say, there was nothing not to like.
Larry Paulsen of Coleridge, NE said, "I've been to four different ones already. They're all great. I wouldn't know which one is better than the other but they all have their unique little tastes and style to it."
The main event was the barbecue ribs competition which included a People's Choice competition.
They chose Miller Liquor's "Barbecue Bootlicker" and our own Larry Wentz was on hand to judge.
The contest winner was great barbecue.
