ISU Extension will host a community meeting and follow-up site visits for property owners affected by flooding. The meeting will be this Sunday, Oct. 23 from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at the Sioux City Hotel and Conference Center.
Iowa State University Civil Construction and Environmental Engineer Stephan Jones and Iowa State University Extension Housing Specialist Bill McAnally will provide information and answer questions property owners have about the damage to their property due to the Missouri River flooding.
A major focus will be what home owners need to know as colder weather approaches. Property owners will be able to sign-up to have Jones and McAnally make a site visit to their property on either Monday, Oct. 24 or Tuesday, Oct. 25.
