As folks were waiting in line to get inside the Convention Center Thursday night, another group of people showed up to speak their minds.

A large group of union members from the Northwest Iowa Labor Council stood outside hoping people would hear their message that " things in the White House need to change."

They want jobs for the middle class, and they don't think any of the Republican candidates in the 2012 Presidential Race are trying to do that.

"I'm not angry. I'm fed up. I'm tired of the mess that were in. This Country's in a huge mess. Unfortunately the Democrats are bought and sold, the Republicans are bought and sold and nothing's going to change unless we change it," said union member Lowell Osborne.

Many with the Northwest Iowa Labor Council says the entire system needs to be thrown out,  and the government needs a fresh start.
