
Top ranked South Sioux City made the most of a trip to "The Pit" on Tuesday picking up a 76-68 win vs the 4th ranked Crusaders. After trailing throughout much of the first half, the Cardinals pulled in front by 4 points at the halftime break. Dunks by Mike Gesell and Nate Rogers helped SSC build a 12 point lead halfway through the third quarter. Bishop Heelan saved it's best for the 4th quarter pulling back to within 3 with about 3:00 to play. That was as close as Gesell and the Cardinals would get. Gesell lead all scorers with 30 while Kyle Heaton tossed in 22 for Bishop Heelan.
