My interest in broadcasting began at an early age. I used to lay in bed at night listening to AM radio stations from across the country. My first job was at the radio station in my hometown of Blue Earth, Minnesota. I went to Iowa State University where I received a Journalism degree in 1977.
During my career, I've worked as a reporter, anchor and news director. Those jobs have taken me from WHO Radio and TV in Des Moines, Iowa to WQOW-TV in Eau Claire, Wisconsin and WBAY-TV in Green Bay, Wisconsin. I've also worked in the field of public relations and produced video programs for business and industry.
I came to Sioux City in 1990 and worked 8 years for KTIV-TV. I spent two years as a realtor and producer of a real estate TV show before joining KMEG-TV in Sioux City.
I came to KCAU-TV in January of 2004. I enjoy sports, especially Iowa State athletics and the Minnesota Vikings and Twins. My wife's name is Lola. We have four boys who keep us pretty busy....my sons Chris and Kelly and Lola's sons Keenan and Quintin Crow.
