A family in Odebolt Iowa continues to search for one its relatives Sunday night. It's been two long weeks and no leads.
Charles Bird is 44-years old and from Odebolt Iowa. It's been two weeks since Robert bird has seen or heard from his brother Charles. Bird says his brother came over for dinner on Saturday like usual, and then he was no where to be found.
"He come over and had pizza I made home made pizza that night.. And he really wasn't feeling good, he had the flu a week prior, ate maybe two pieces and went home, that was the last time I saw him," said Bird.
The family says they've searched all over Odebolt and Sac County, with the help of search parties and the Sheriff's department.
"Bridges, culverts, abandon houses, abandon farm houses, ditches..We've had two leads that we've followed up on nothing...and his cell phone is dead right now so we can't track him on that," said Bird.
And while they may be running out of places to look, friends and family throughout the state are looking for him.
"I' m just hoping he's safe and warm and trying not to think the worst even though it is running through my mind," said Charles sister-in-law, Michelle Bird.
The family says they have no idea why he left, they're just hoping to hear from him soon. The family has friends throughout the state putting up fliers, and the Sac County Sheriff's Department is now looking at Bird's email and facebook account for any possible leads.
