Siouxland Bank Donates to Future Habitat Home

Posted: Updated:

Habitat for Humanity is getting a big boost for its next project in Siouxland.

First Financial Bank in Dakota Dunes donated $15,000 to help the organization build a new home in North Sioux City.

Habitat for Humanity builds these homes to provide affordable housing for families in need.

"This is very much needed. They have a lot of people that work in the community that have to commute in that really don't live in the city proper area and really want to live over here, want to be part of the area that they're serving," said Teresa Wolff with Siouxland Habitat for Humanity.

In order to qualify, you need to currently live or work in Siouxland, live in substandard conditions and meet the income requirement.
