The Norfolk fire division responded to a house fire Friday evening.
Around dinner time, the firefighters arrived at a home on south 10th street.
They extinguished the fire in ten minutes.
But it's estimated the fire caused about ten thousand dollars of damage to the home, and seven thousand dollars in damage to things inside the home.
At the time, one of the homeowners and her son were in the home.
The cause is under investigation.
