Six inches.
That's about the amount of snow fall blanketing the town of Onawa right now. And while six inches may sound like a lot for those of us that stayed dry...
"This is not bad at all, this is not bad at all. I've lived in Onawa for 81 years and I've seen it a lot worse than this," said Kenneth Richardson.
Others say, they saw it coming.
"We probably deserved it. We've been having pretty good weather ya know.. with fifty sixty degrees in January, so it had to come sooner or later," said Mike Gibler.
As far as the roads go? Not an issue. Thee amount of snow that people had to clean up, though? That's a different story. But the bigger story...
"I think the weirdest part is Sioux City didn't get any snow, we got six inches, they said Omaha area got close to a foot, so in that 90 mile ban from zero to a foot, that's pretty amazing," said Gibler.
