Nebraska lawmakers are set to begin work on the state's version of health insurance reform.
Legislators plan to debate two bills that would create a state, health benefit exchange.
If states don't set up an exchange by 2014, then the federal government can create its own version for states.
Some states have delayed action, hoping the U.S. Supreme Court rules the health reforms unconstitutional.
Nebraska Senators say they want to move ahead in hopes of helping people buy affordable and quality health care coverage.
