Today marks the 23rd Annual "juried youth art exhibit" at the Sioux City Art Center. Nearly 500 entries were submitted from the tri-state area, and just over 100 were selected to be in this years' collection. The artwork on display is extremely creative, and it gives student's an opportunity to share their talents.
"These are two of my art projects that got selected for the art center. It feels really good. Makes us feel good like we actually did something," said artist, 12th grader Drew Marshall.
The students' pieces were judged on originality, creativity and excellence of workmanship. You can check out the exhibit, now through April 8th at the Sioux City Art Center.
