Landon Bos was just 7-years old when he was riding his scooter when a car hit him. Bos wasn't wearing a helmet, and died from severe head injuries.

"I've said it before, I'll say it again. I thought nothing good would come from that. Nothing good could come from that," said Landon's dad Dave Bos.

But something did. A year after Landon's death, the community came together and started an annual bike rodeo in his memory. Kids in the community learn how to ride in a fun, interactive, and most importantly a safe way. For the first time this year the rodeo was held in its new location at the Norfolk Pedal Park.

"It makes me feel so good to know that kids come out and have fun, at the same time they're learning...If he was here... this would be so big to him. He would love this," said Corrinne Bos, Landon's mom.

Part of the new bike park is named after Landon, and a memorial is set up right along the safety course.

"I know that his spirit is here riding with us. Every time we do this and it's incredible," said Bos.
