An 18-year-old driver was killed in single-car crash south of Pender yesterday.
The Cuming County Sheriff's Office says Christian Skwarek was heading north Sunday when he crossed the southbound lane, left the road and hit a guardrail.
The Sheriff's Office in investigating the cause of the crash, and an autopsy has been ordered.
