You may know her as the author of the book, "Promise Me." The story of two sisters, their unbreakable bond and her promise to end breast cancer forever.

Nancy Goodman Brinker is much more than just an inspiring writer, she's the founder and CEO of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, an organization named after her only sister, Susan, who died from breast cancer in 1980 at age 36.

Today, Komen is the largest private funder of breast cancer research and community outreach in the world.  And on September 7th, Nancy Brinker is gracing Siouxland with her presence for a brunch and book signing at Bev's on the River.

She chose Siouxland because of our continued, outstanding efforts and unwavering commitment to a world without breast cancer.
