The beer is cold and the bikers are ready.
"I'm kind of anxious to get to sit and see the people and enjoy all the food and beverages there are here," says Jean Underwood, with her husband on their bike from Ong, Nebraska.
Historic 4th Street is bustling with people, preparing for the 13th Annual Awesome Biker Nights. Over 20,000 bikers are expected to pass through town this weekend, and businesses are ready for the crowds.
"I'm so excited for the 20,000 people that are coming to Historic 4th. I mean we've order 1400 buns instead of perhaps 200 buns that we'd normally order on a Friday and Saturday. We've quadrupled the beer and the ice alone," says Julie Schoenher, owner of SoHo Bar and Grill.
"I'd say it's the busiest weekend of the year. It's just a boost that we haven't been seeing. So, moneys out there and people like to spend money if given something to do on the street," says Tiffany Nettleton, manager of Buffalo Alice.
And you can bet there will be plenty to do here on Historic 4th Street this weekend, but bars aren't the only businesses that will be busy these next two days.
"Hotels are booked, restaurants are anxious with anticipation... it is a great thing for this city," says Aran Rush, executive director at the Sioux City Convention Center.
And its all for a good cause too. All the money raised from ticket sales goes to local charities. Now of course the city will have to wait until the event ends to know how much money it brought in, but it's expecting to be somewhere in the million dollar range.
