Saturday in the Park has two stages, and one band in particular may be younger than the rest, but they held their own on Second Stage.
The group, November 35th, is made up of four members all under the ages of sixteen.
Lead guitarist, Evan Kaler, says "Me and my brother, the drummer, and the bass player Casey, we played for the talent show in middle school, and I've always been into music, and we got together and just started playing."
That explains how three of the guys joined the band, but what about the lead singer?
Anna Grote, 14 year old lead singer, joined the band after she proved herself worthy at the Sergeant Bluff middle school talent show. She already feels right at home on the stage.
Grote says, "I like interacting with the crowd, and it's just fun to be up there and everybody watching you, it's a lot of energy you get from it."
The band has already performed at several local venues, including Awesome Biker Nights.
They all hope to be rock stars when they grow up, but they also have back up plans in case that doesn't work out.
Bass Player, Casey Cakebread says, "Well I want to continue playing, but I also consider being a doctor."
