Hope and Charity are Anna Hengtgen's beautiful new twin girls, Anna's third and fourth child under the age of 5.

Anna Hengtgen said, "I was in utter shock." "Were you a little nervous?" asked reporter Staci DaSilva. "Yea, because I didn't know how it was all going to work," said Hengtgen.

But she's not alone. The sounds of newborn cries haven't been the only sounds filling the hallways lately.

Ashlee Niemeier of Cherokee said, "They play the lullaby every time new babies are born and you hear it twice and obviously we've been hearing it quite a bit in the last couple weeks."

That's because twins seems to be the trend at Saint Luke's Hospital lately.

NICU Nurse Manager Cindy Running said, "We have currently six sets of twins which is probably matching our all-time record for number of multiples. So it's pretty exciting. They make up more than half of our population in the NICU."

And get this: this is the second time new mom Ashlee Niemeier from Cherokee has expected twins.

Niemeier said, "My 17-month old was actually a twin. One absorbed and then I kept one. And so when she told me I was having twins, I was like 'no way!"

Also from Cherokee, Isabella and Savannah...just two more of the 12 bundles of joy delivered at Saint Luke's.

A bond they'll share for the rest of their lives.

"I'm sure the girls will have something to talk about when they get older," said Hengtgen.

Double the work, yes. But definitely two-times the love.
