Sioux City, IA – Camp High Hopes announced today that they are looking for people to donate needed items to the newly constructed year-round special needs camp. The Sioux City Target Store and Camp High Hopes have made it easy for members of the community to supply the camp with items it needs to fulfill its mission. Interested donors can view the camp's registry of needs at the Sioux City Target Store Baby Registry Kiosk. A link to the registry can also be viewed online at www.camphighhopes.com. Items can be purchased at www.Target.com or at the Sioux City Target Store now through October 1st. Items on the needs list range in price from $1.57 to $899.99 and include everything from ointment and glue sticks to toys and TV's. If the needed items are purchased at the Sioux City Target Store, the item can be securely left at the Target Customer Service desk so that it can be handed over to the camp at a later date. Items purchased online can be shipped to the camp.
"Making giving easy is important to our camp and to our donors. Partnering with the Sioux City Target Store to make and update our needs list allows our donors to give to the camp while they shop online or in the Sioux City Target store, and within a price range that fits their giving budget. It will also save donors a trip because they can simply leave the item that they purchased for the camp at the Sioux City Target Store or can have it shipped directly to the camp. Giving and helping has never been easier," said Executive Director Ali Langseth.
Camp High Hopes is a year-round recreational facility exclusively designed and operated for children and adults with special needs. The non-profit organization is on track to complete the construction of Phase 1 of the year-round special needs camp this August. A public grand opening is scheduled for September 6th and camp registration is currently open for its Fall 2012 sessions. Fall 2012 sessions are available September 10th through December 21st and will include week-long, short-week and weekend programs for children and adults with special needs.
