Iowa City, IA - When walk on fullback Mark Weisman got his chance to shine against Northern Iowa he took advantage. Weisman was thrust into action after starter Damon Bullock and backup Greg Garmon went down with injuries. Weisman ran for 113 yards and 3 touchdowns to help Iowa beat UNI. His performance has certainly earned him more playing time from here on out. Kirk Ferentz says he knew what Weisman was capable of, but you never know until you put kids in a game situation. The coach also made it clear that he didn't know if they'll move Weisman to a featured running back spot, but that Saturday's performance was encouraging.
