Sioux City, Iowa - The Morningside Mustangs continue their winning ways as they sent the Midland Warriors back to Nebraska with a 42-0 defeat.

Quarterback Joel Nixon was a man on a mission as he passed for 344 yards and two touchdowns while racking up another 112 yards and one touchdown on the ground, including a 62 yard touchdown run.

Linebacker Aaron Roberg was a key contributor on defense as he piled up nine tackles, two of which were for losses, and one sack.

The Mustangs have a bye next week, but will face #23 Doane on the road October sixth.
