A driver who fell asleep at the wheel ended up causing a 3 vehicle accident in Sioux County Thursday morning.
21 year old Jacob Bickett was driving south on highway 75 when he fell asleep and crossed the center line, colliding with a semi truck driven by 58 year old John Fogo.
Fogo lost control of the semi and went into the ditch.
63 year old Kathy Van Essen was behind Bickett when he crossed the center line, and in an effort to avoid the collision she went into the ditch where her Ford Explorer rolled over onto its top.
Van Essen and a passenger in her vehicle where both transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
Fogo was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
