The riverfront playground at Chris Larsen Park got a little "sprucing up" on Saturday.
Sioux City Rotary Club members were out all morning long putting final touches on the playground.
About twenty volunteers poured out wood chips, took down temporary fencing and re-seeded the area.
The club has raised about $20,000 dollars for the project, and says that helping build it has been priceless.
"It'll not only feel good to drive by and see that we helped pay for it, but also have a little more ownership in it that not only did we help pay for it but we helped put it in place so people could use it," said Mark Custer, Chris Larsen Park Project Coordinator.
The playground will be ready for some play time come Saturday afternoon.
