Sioux Center, Iowa - The Dordt Defenders picked up their first victory of the season as they sent the Briar Cliff charges packing with a 33-19 loss.
P.J. Quiroga aired it out for 295 yards with three touchdown tosses. Robert Wilson gained 101 yards on the ground, and also caught four passes for 39 yards. Bryce Harshman brought in nine passes for 93 yards and a score, while his fellow receiver, Tyler McGhee caught four balls for 72 yards and a touchdown.
Josh Block was able to bring down 11 tackles, one of which was for a loss. Chance Colvin was second on the defense in tackles -- he finished with seven.
The Chargers will have their homecoming next Saturday as they welcome Concordia (2-2) with a 1:00 p.m. kickoff.
