The Jager family from Akron, Iowa has been named October's Project Homefront recipient.
Sarah Jager is a military wife and mother, and she recently took care of her two little girls all by herself. Her husband, Sgt. Jason Jager with the Iowa Army National Guard was deployed to Afghanistan. During that time Sarah said she worried constantly about his safety. She also struggled with how to explain the situation to her 2 year old daughter. See their story in the latest edition of Project Homefront.
