You can find some good deals at a local church this weekend, especially if you have kids.
First Congregational United Church of Christ is hosting its annual Fall Festival. With it: the semi–annual "Children's Closet" consignment sale.
You can find clothes for all ages, as well as toys. It's a big help for parents, and the proceeds help others.
"Everything that is raised during this fall festival goes to local agencies and to their work in the community. We don't keep any of it for our operating budget. So everything that is raised here goes out into the community to do good work," commented Pastor Ryan Dowell Baum.
There's also a huge rummage sale at the church with furniture, household items and sporting goods.
First Congregational is at 4600 Hamilton Blvd. The sale goes from 9am-noon Saturday.
