Mari and Darin Lubberstedt, and their two-boys Trent and Tyler of Laurel, Nebraska, try to live a normal life.

But one thing is setting them back.

11-year old Trent has been suffering from an undiagnosed form of headache that leaves him in excruciating pain.

"It just hits me...and it's like squeezing in my temples...and head," says Trent.

He's been having these severe headaches since he was nine. They come in waves, about 15 to 20 times a day. They even occur at night. His parents say, it's something even the most advanced physicians can't seem to figure out.

"Our faith in the medical system is a little bit lacking right now, it's very disappointing when you've seen the best doctors and you kind of feel like they give up," says the mom of two.

But the Lubberstedts' refuse to give up. Not on a diagnosis or on a cure.

They say, without the help and support of their family, friends and community, they wouldn't be able to keep going on this long journey in finding an answer.

There will be a silent auction held on November 3rd, to help Trent and his family pay for medical and travel expenses. It will be at the Taylor Seeds building in Laurel, starting at 11 a.m.

Monetary donations may be made to:
