On Monday, U.S. Representative Steve King was on the campaign trail here in Sioux City.
One of the main topics he focused on was the threat of another Missouri River flood.
The congressman spoke down on the riverfront at Bev's On the River Restaurant and Lounge.
He addressed his Flood Control Bill.
King said the bill will require the Army Corps of Engineers to manage the river in a way that will help prevent another historic Missouri River flood.
